Student Achievement

Measuring Up

Since 2001, the Ministry of Education has asked school districts throughout British Columbia to complete Achievement Contracts. The contracts are part of an annual accountability cycle for schools, school districts and for the Ministry of Education. The Achievement Contracts are a school district's public commitment to improving student achievement. They are presented to the Board of Education in each district every June. The District Plan for Student Success is Abbotsford School District's annual Achievement Contract. The plan outlines the Board of Education’s commitment to supporting the priorities and the purpose of the accountability framework of the Ministry of Education. The Contract supports the District's vision, mission, values and achievement goals.  In addition, each December the Superintendent presents a Report on Student Achievement.
